A St. Joseph Tradition
Fall Festival is St. Joseph tradition! Each September, we celebrate the onset of autumn with a variety of events that get everyone involved!
This year, our Fall Festival was an abbreviated CoVid-19 friendly version. We had our Raffle Baskets (only 10) and Food to pick-up and take home. The Raffle Baskets were available for viewing and the ability to purchase tickets for chances beginning Saturday August 22nd - Sunday September 13th in the Great Hall. Otherwise, during the week, they were available in the Parish Office. On Saturday September 12th besides the Raffle Baskets you could pick-up a Chicken Dinner or two to take home and enjoy. The Chicken Dinner included a chicken breast, a chicken leg, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, "VanAbel style" green beans and dessert. They were packaged for pickup. These dinners were pre-ordered and pre-paid. Sunday, September 13th brought hamburgers and brats for take-out. Basket Raffle Tickets were $1 each. You could have purchased them before or after weekend Masses in the Great Hall or during the week at the Reception Desk in the Parish Office. The drawing for our winners took place on Sunday September 13th at 11:30 am. |
