![]() SCRIP SALES
What is SCRIP? SCRIP is a program where St. Joe’s receives money back from vendors when you purchase Gift Cards. EXAMPLE: You purchase $100 in Pick N’ Save Gift Cards, St. Joe’s receives a percentage of the purchase price while you receive your $100 in gift cards. Normally, for your Christmas shopping, in the Great Hall after Masses, we sell every week throughout both November and December (until the weekend before Christmas). With the lack of participation in the program currently, we are going to try a different method of selling these cards. If you would like to purchase, please complete the order form [found on the register in the back of church, in the Parish Office area or on our website] and return it to the Parish Office with a check made out to “Xavier Catholic Schools.” We will then place your order and have it for you by Friday of that week or the upcoming weekend. Please indicate when you would like to pick up your order. Thanks for participating in this great program. Additional Order Forms will be on the register in the back of church, by the receptionist’s desk in the Parish Office or you can print it from our website. We do have a small collection of SCRIP cards on hand in the office, if you are interested in picking some Gift Cards up in the Parish Office, call ahead to see if we have them available. Do you use SCRIP? SCRIP Gift Cards can be used to purchase items at the businesses. One nice advantage is if you purchase Kohl’s Gift Cards, you can also pay your Kohl’s Credit Card bill. Please consider taking advantage of this program this year. Thank you for participating in this great opportunity. |

Eucharistic Adoration - First Friday of the Month after 12:05 pm Mass
Bishop David Ricken has asked every Parish in the diocese to schedule a monthly holy hour before the Blessed Sacrament. The Blessed Sacrament will be placed on the altar and there will be prayers, scripture readings, and time for silent reflection.
Holy Hours and Benediction used to be popular devotions in parishes. It has been a while since we've held them at St. Joe's. Presumably, this is the case elsewhere. In bringing back this devotion, we hope many will find this as a means to appreciating the Eucharist and increasing our prayer life.
