Initiation...
Infant Baptism:
Celebrated both in and outside of
the weekend Eucharistic Liturgies. Parents participate in
two baptismal preparation classes and a home visit by a
member of the pastoral team. Baptismal classes are offered
on the second and fourth Tuesdays, every other month.
First Eucharist:
The family-focused formation
involves a combination of at-home preparation, parent
preparation and child classroom preparation taking place
normally when the child is in 2nd grade. Children celebrate
the Sacrament in their parish of membership regardless of
the day school they attend.
Confirmation:
Students in grades 11 and 12
participate in a process of discernment which includes
information, community involvement, reflection and prayer.
Sponsors play an active and vital role. Children celebrate
the Sacrament in their parish of membership regardless of
the day school they attend.
RCIA:
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
is open to all adults who are unbaptised, those who want to
become Catholic, and those who have received baptism but
have yet to receive the other initiation Sacraments. The
RCIA process is pastorally implemented by a team of
parishioners and pastoral team members, sponsors and parish
companions. Those to be fully initiated and received into
the Church celebrate the Sacraments at the Easter Vigil.

per a personal or family request. Also, the Sacrament is
celebrated within the context of Liturgy once a year.

The process of marriage preparation
includes approximately two sessions with a pastoral team
member as well as several sessions with a FOCCUS couple

Lives Really Do Become One" sponsored and implemented by
married couples of the parish.
